Ruong Village Festival
Time: 6th to the 16th day of the first lunar and the 12th day of the eighth lunar month.
Place: Vinh Thanh Hamlet, Vinh Ngoc Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: The village’s tutelary god Noi Hau (General of King An Duong Vuong) and his wife A Nuong, two sons: Dong Cong, Vuc Cong.
Characteristics: woman boats racing (lozenge-shaped wooden boats, the prow has shaped of dragon and crane heads), water puppetry show.
Sai Dong Festival
Time: 4th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Sai Dong Hamlet, Gia Thuy Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Linh Lang.
Characteristics: Perform the farming work.
Sai Temple Festival (Alive King procession Festival)
Time: 12th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Thuy Loi Hamlet, Thuy Lam Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Huyen Thien Tran Vu.
Characteristics: According to the tale of Golden Tortoise that help An Duong Vuong exterminate ogre to build Co Loa Citadel. It involves a procession of alive king who is acted by an old man sitting in the palanquin.
Sua Mountain Festival
Time: the 19th day of the first lunar month.
Place:Sua Mountain (Bach Thao), Ngoc Ha, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Huyen Thien Hac Cong (Saint Hac Cong).
Characteristics: This festival originated from the swear custom of 3 hamlets: Ngoc Ha, Huu Tiep, Xuan Bieu to strengthen the union against the natural calamities and enemy-inflated destruction. People take part in the festival for meeting and entertainment: songs singing, bonsai contest, cooking steamed glutinous rice contest.
Ta Thanh Oai Village Festival
Time: 14th to the 16th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Ta Thanh Oai Village, Ta Thanh Oai Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Lady Do Ho and King Le Dai Hanh.
Characteristics: Have a procession at midnight; boi chess playing, human chess, pots smashing, ducks catching, trong quan singing.
Tam Huyen Pagoda Festival
Time: 6th day of the third lunar month.
Place: Ha Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Tu Vinh (father of Zen Buddhist Tu Dao Hanh).
Characteristics: Rod fighting (two people), steamed glutinous rice cooking contest, hand wrestling, cock fighting.

Characteristics: A palanquin procession from Inner Communal House to the Outer Communal House, tuong performance, cock fighting, boi chess playing.
Thanh Nhan Temple Festival
Time: 6th day of the first lunar month.
Place:Thanh Nhan Hamlet, Thanh Xuan Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Phu Dong Thien Vuong.
Characteristics:Bronze statues of pink and white horses. Big procession of nine villages.
Thi Cam Rice-cooking Contest
Time: 8th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Hoe Thi Hamlet, Xuan Phuong Commune, Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Phan Tay Nhac.
Characteristics: The contest comprises various episodes: water fetching contest, fire making contest and rice – cooking contest.
Tho Khoi Village Festival
Time: The 9th day of the second lunar month.
Place: Cu Khoi Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Bo Cai Royal Highest, Dao Duy Trinh, Cao Son, Linh Lang Royal Highest, and Bach Da.
Characteristics: Offerings isn’t white cocks, boat racing, human chess, skiff rowing race, to tom diem playing, cheo singing, ca tru, tuong performances.
Thuong Cat Swimming Festival
Time: 10th day of the third lunar month.
Place: Thuong Cat Commune, Tu Liem District, Hanoi.

Place: Tu Lien Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi.

Ung Thien Communal House Festival
Time: 6th to 8th day of the third lunar month and the 26th day of the ninth lunar month.
Place: Lang Ha Ward, Dong Da District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Goddess Nguyen quan hau tho; Linh Lang, Tu Nuong ton than, Cao Son Royal Highest, Princess Vinh Gia.
Characteristics: Worshipping Mother in the communal house, washing statue ceremony, sacrifices – offering ceremony, incense offering. The festival takes place at three villages (Lang Thuong, Lang Trung, Lang Ha) at the same time.
Vai Village Festival (Tam Xa Festival)
Time: 12th day of the third lunar month and once every 3 years on the 5th day of the fourth lunar month.
Place: Tam Xa Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Tan Vien, Cao Son, Quí Minh, Long Linh, Lady Cam.
Characteristics: Nhap tich sacrifice (recognize a member of village), main feast sacrifice, Tong tich sacrifice (unrecognized member to a village), Yen vi sacrifice, confucian scholars sacrifice, and mask dance.
Van Phuc Communal House Festival
Time: the 9th day of the second lunar month.
Place: 32 Doi Can Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Linh Lang Royal Highest (according to the legend, he is the 4th son of King Ly Thanh Tong), Mother Thien Tien Ly Hue Tong.
Characteristics: A procession, drum dance, vieing for red silk.
Ve Communal House Festival
Time: the 9th to the 11th day of the second lunar month.
Place: Dong Ngac Commune, Tu Liem District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: Saint Doc Cuoc son tien (Saint of fairy mountain), Le Khoi – a meritorious official of Le Dynasty, Earth genie.
Characteristics: Contest of reciting poem, ca tru singing. The specialities are khoai cake and rattan and bamboo products.
Vieing for ball Festival in Vien Noi
Time: 8th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Vien Noi Hamlet, Van Noi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
Objects of worship: General Dong Vinh, General Chung Bao.
Characteristics: Procession of Than Cau (God of Ball) and sacrifices – offering ceremony of Than Cau. It involves the games using “ông Móc” to vie for ball.
